Grande Shanghai 2

This is a traditional Chinese restaurant, decorated with carved wood figures, statues, and ornamental lamps, all in wood with padded chairs. There's a free parking lot in front, where there's usually space. There are no tablets for ordering here, but orders are taken by the Carabinieri in the traditional way with paper and pen. The atmosphere is traditional. The owner is very kind, as are the waiters, but they are often new and inexperienced. The service is quick, and the place is never too crowded. You can find a table for two even on pre-holiday evenings. The food is very good, prepared and served with attention. The portions are generous, even when ordering à la carte. The all-you-can-eat menu is cheaper than other restaurants in the city. They recently changed the dishes, which are now very appealing and always Chinese-style.

The Grande Shangai 2 restaurant is truly excellent! The sushi is very fresh and carefully prepared, the dishes are tasty and plentiful. The staff is kind and attentive. The prices are also fair and proportionate to the quality. Definitely recommended!

The food is good, the service is good, they are quick with orders. I have been going there for years but it is still a great place to eat Sushi.

Excellent place, very professional and extremely polite staff, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks. I had a wonderful meal, and you can also order the all-you-can-eat set menu. Satisfied with the service and highly recommend.

Nice place, the food is very good and reasonably priced. The service is good and fast. Update 11/22 One of (if not the) best Chinese restaurants in Perugia. Excellent food and service.

5 stars only because I can't give 6. First thing appreciated: when ordering a mixed sushi sashimi dish they ask if we eat all types of fish, no one does and it's a welcome attention! Then we can immediately forget about the all you can eat options that have been converted into takeaways due to the anti-covid directives: here they serve à la carte and they do it well, you spend little and you eat like heaven! I had frequented the place for many years under the old management, now with the new one the standards have remained the same (high) and the goodness of the dishes as well. Freshly cooked, tasty and not full of salt (which is what all you can eat restaurants do to make you buy water for 2 euros for 75 cl) I was wrong not to go back sooner! Now the rooms are a little sad as they are necessarily dark and empty, but the place is wonderful!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Perugia. The quality/price ratio is unmatched! There's a wide selection, the prices are truly excellent, and so is the food. Plus, the staff is always very friendly and happy. I go back often!

It had been a few months since I had eaten here and it was a pleasant surprise. The menu is excellent, as it has always been, with some very tasty new additions to the Japanese dishes. The staff, always smiling and helpful, is now even more attentive to the customer, after each course they came to make sure everything had arrived. The service was also punctual and fast, being a Saturday night, so with a large clientele. I will return more often!

Exceptional!!! A delicious Chinese restaurant! We'll be back! A little hidden, but worth it!!! ☺️☺️
